TF1700.100 is the 100 mm OD 1-zone version of Across International's TF1700 tube furnace series. The live Across page describes this series as using Mitsubishi (Japan) high-quality grade 1800 alumina fiber insulation and molybdenum silicide (MoSi2) heating elements inside a dual-wall steel housing to minimize heat loss.

Furnace operation is controlled by Eurotherm or Shimaden multi-segment digital control with built-in digital communication port and USB adaptor, allowing PC-based remote control, monitoring, and export of test results.
