STF1500.100 is the 100 mm OD 1-zone version of Across International's STF1500 top-open tube furnace series. The live Across page describes this series as using Mitsubishi (Japan) high-quality alumina fiber insulation and silicon carbide (SiC) heating elements inside a dual-wall steel internal housing to help minimize heat loss to the exterior surface.

Furnace operation is controlled by a Eurotherm (UK) digital multi-segment controller with built-in digital communication port, allowing PC-based remote control, monitoring, and export of test results. Across notes that multiple atmosphere processes can be performed in a single cycle, such as binder burn-out in air followed by sintering under rough vacuum or inert gas.
