STF1200.100 is the 100 mm OD 1-zone version of Across International's STF1200 top-open split tube furnace series. The live Across page describes this series as using Kanthal (Sweden) spiral wire coils embedded in Mitsubishi (Japan) high-quality grade 1500 alumina fiber insulation, with a double-walled steel housing to help minimize exterior heat loss.

Furnace operation is controlled by a Eurotherm (UK) digital controller with built-in digital communication port for PC-based remote control and monitoring.
