Across International IH series mid-frequency induction heaters are designed to operate between 30 and 80 kHz. Mid-frequency heaters are excellent for small parts heating, cutting, diamond tool brazing, soldering copper plumbing fittings, auto parts heat-treating, annealing of stainless steel containers and more.

Mid-frequency induction heaters are the simplest in terms of design and implementation. With their low cost of ownership and maintenance, they are among the most popular and reliable induction-heating machines for factory, lab, and workshop use.

Induction heating does not involve the external application of heat but rather the internal generation of heat in the workpiece itself. This process reduces long heating periods and enables localized, precisely timed heat input for high efficiency and strong energy utilization.

Safety Features

• Overvoltage protection: the machine shuts down when input voltage is over 245V, and the alarm clears automatically after voltage returns to normal.
• Overheat protection: if the IGBT heat sink exceeds 55C, the machine shuts down until cooling conditions improve.
• Overcurrent and malfunction protections: shutdown occurs if parts overheat, interfering signals are detected, coils short, machine failures occur, coils touch each other, input voltage is too low, or water pressure drops below 29 PSI.

• Always wear protective gear and goggles during operation.
• Crucibles must remain covered during use.
• Do not run no-load for extended periods.
• Circulating water must be pure, clean, and below 45C.
• The machine must be properly grounded at all times.
• Do not use a single-turn coil smaller than 4 inches in diameter.
• Do not use thread tape or similar material during induction-coil installation.

Main Induction Furnace Specifications and Melting Capacity

Each melting cycle takes approximately 50-60 minutes for a cold furnace and 20-30 minutes for a hot furnace.
