GCF1750.12.8.8 is the 12 x 8 x 8 inch chamber version of Across International's GCF1750 controlled atmosphere muffle furnace series. The live Across page describes this series as using Mitsubishi (Japan) high-quality alumina fiber insulation and MoSi2 heating elements in a double-walled steel housing that helps minimize heat loss.

The furnace is controlled by a Eurotherm or Shimaden multi-segment digital controller with built-in communications port and USB adapter for PC-based remote control, monitoring, and export of test results. Across also notes that multiple atmosphere processes can be run in one cycle, such as binder burn-out in air followed by sintering under rough vacuum or inert gas.
