GCF1400.6.6.6 is the 6 x 6 x 6 inch chamber version of Across International's GCF1400 controlled atmosphere muffle furnace series. The live Across page describes this series as using Mitsubishi (Japan) high-quality alumina fiber insulation with silicon carbide heating elements inside a double-walled steel housing to reduce exterior heat loss.

Furnace operation is controlled by a Eurotherm or Shimaden multi-segment digital controller with built-in communications port and USB adapter, allowing PC-based remote control, monitoring, and export of test results. Across notes that these furnaces support multiple atmosphere processes in one cycle, such as binder burn-out in air followed by sintering under rough vacuum or inert gas.

Important
