GCF1200.16.12.12 is the 16 x 12 x 12 inch chamber version of Across International's GCF1200 controlled atmosphere muffle furnace series. The live Across page describes this series as using Mitsubishi (Japan) high-quality alumina fiber insulation and Kanthal (Sweden) heating elements inside a double-walled steel housing to help minimize heat loss.

Furnace operation is controlled by Eurotherm or Shimaden digital controller with built-in digital communication port and USB adaptor, allowing PC-based remote control, monitoring, and export of test results. Across notes that multiple atmosphere processes can be run in a single cycle, such as binder burn-out in air followed by sintering under rough vacuum or inert gas.
