CF1200.12.8.8 is the 12 x 8 x 8 inch chamber variant from Across International's CF1200 benchtop muffle furnace series. The live Across page describes this series as using Kanthal (Sweden) spiral wire coils embedded in Mitsubishi (Japan) high-quality alumina fiber insulation inside a double-walled steel housing to reduce heat loss.

Furnace operation is controlled by a Eurotherm or Shimaden digital controller with built-in communications port and USB adapter for PC-based remote control, monitoring, and export of test results.
