FLOQSwabs were developed out of an extensive collaboration with physicians and

COPAN specialized minitip flocked swabs are commonly used to collect
nasopharyngeal samples. When paired with viral transport media for testing
suspected cases of COVID-19 and other viral pathogens flocked swabs offer
exceptional value and clinical outcomes to laboratories and point of care providers.
The anatomically designed minitip flocked swab paired with STM®: Smart Transport
Medium® make sample collection less traumatic for patients when compared to
nasopharyngeal aspirates/washes. They are also safe and convenient. Minitip flocked
swabs are sterile and individually wrapped and provide rapid Automatic Elution -
instant and spontaneous release of the sample into liquid media.
